Sustainability Policy

Wisteria Gray Wedding
Planning is committed to continuous improvement in sustainability, recognising the growing need for responsible business practice in the UK wedding industry. Our policy outlines our intention to learn, adapt, and integrate ethical practices across our operations.

The essential four pillars of sustainability:

Planet:

By actively working to reduce our environmental footprint

Profit:

By ensuring economic responsibility and transparency

People:

By fostering ethical standards and team welfare

Purpose:

By aligning our core mission with a positive long-term impact

  • Carbon Emission Reduction:
Making conscious choices to reduce carbon emissions through the recommendation of local suppliers, holding virtual meetings and limit the amount of AI software used throughout any online platform.

  • Circular Economy:
Prioritising reuse, rental, repair, and recycling to eliminate single-use items in all our operations and client-facing deliverables. For example, promote the sale of items through charity shops, pre-loved wedding fayres, Vinted and any 2nd hand online format. Also will promote the use of floristry work that strive to use alternatives to foam.

  • Responsible Sourcing:
Ensuring that all materials (e.g., paper, flowers, décor) are seasonally and locally sourced wherever possible

  • Client Education:
Guiding and inspiring our clients to make sustainable and ethical choices, offering clear, low-impact alternatives for all services. We will also consider other suppliers commitment to a sustainable work approach.

Our sustainability core objectives:

Monitoring:

We have set up a monthly internal review of any findings and achievements with the goal to publish an annual Sustainability Impact Report on our website.
